Can PU leather tear or get damaged if it is dropped or scratched?

The case is overall the best case I've used on a phone. Personally I enjoy the cut-out version the most as it looks more unique than typical phone cases, which for this kuro-tech themed case fits very well. As for it's looks, it really is one of the coolest if not the -best looking case- I have seen. Beautiful and sleek modern design. The heatsink actually works and does offload heat from the back making the screen a tiny bit cooler, as now less heat is coming out via the screen. The color-changing heat icon is a nice passive feature to include and decent gimmick. The case itself fits very firmly on the phone and the side buttons are clicky and feel good. The protection around the camera bump is not too large nor too protruding yet offers adequate protection while maintaining the sleek design. Luckily the case also feels great to use. Many leather / fake leather cases feel bloated or thick due to leather hide or filler material to imitate thick/real leather hide. This vegan leather is more like thin nappa leather and feels very nice in the hand. It makes holding the phone quite comfortable and doesn't add size or heft to the phone as a whole, as the case is quite light-weight. The mag-safe strength is also "just right" for me. It's not too loose and not too strong, my mag-safe attachments hold safely and can be detached easily. While the lack of Natural Titanium or Desert Gold matching case colors is noticeable, the only true minus for me is the lack of any "lower lip" accommodation for swiping up from the bottom of the screen using this case. Many iPhone cases decrease the height of the case-edge at the bottom of the screen to make the constant swipe-action when navigating across apps and the Home screen more comfortable and easy to use. The fact that the Aulumu cases lack this basic accommodation is disappointing and I have no doubt if this were to be added to their new cases or in a revision , it would become an unbeatable, must-have iPhone case.
