Keep every metal part.

The replacement color is the FKM band portion. The connector and buckle hardware shown in the video are moved from your current C05 to the new band.

Important: Do not discard the original connector, cover plates, pins or TC15 buckle components.

01

Use a clear surface

Work over a clean, flat table so the small pins and retaining pieces stay visible.

02

Change one half first

Keep the other half assembled as a reference for hardware order and orientation.

03

Use the right tools

Use a fingernail or thin non-marring pick for the cover and a fine pin or band tool for the spring bar. Stop and realign if a part resists.

Transfer. Rebuild. Check.

Follow the close-ups in order. The connector steps apply to both band halves; the buckle steps apply only to the buckle half.

01

Start at 00:10

Release the connector hardware

Turn the band so the underside of the watch connector faces you. Use a fingernail or thin non-marring pick to lift the oval cover, remove the inner locking plate, then separate the metal watch adapter from the old FKM band.

Keep the order The oval cover and small locking plate are easy to lose. Lay them down in removal order.
02

Start at 00:35

Remove the buckle assembly

Insert a fine pin or band-removal tool through the side hole to compress and push out the spring bar. Remove the U-shaped TC15 buckle frame and the small buckle tongue or clip, then set them beside the connector hardware.

Control the spring bar Keep a finger over the bar while releasing it so it cannot spring away or scratch the metal.
03

Start at 01:05

Repeat on the second band half

Remove the oval cover, locking plate and watch adapter from the longer perforated half in the same order. Keep the small hardware grouped, then compare both replacement halves with the originals before rebuilding.

Account for every part You should have the locking plate, spring bar, U-frame, oval cover and watch adapter shown at 01:20.
04

Start at 01:25

Transfer the hardware

Fit each watch adapter and locking plate to the matching end of the replacement FKM band, then press the oval cover flat. On the shorter half, insert the spring bar and reinstall the buckle tongue and U-shaped frame in their original direction.

Check cover and pin The oval cover should sit flush, and both spring-bar ends should be captured by the buckle frame.
05

Start at 02:00

Reattach and verify

Slide each connector horizontally into the matching watch slot. Confirm both adapters sit flush and centered, then gently pull each band half before putting the watch back on.

Stop if it shifts Remove and reinstall any side that moves, sits proud or appears misaligned.

Three checks before wear.

Take a few seconds to inspect the transferred hardware from every side.

  1. 01
    Flush

Both watch connectors sit level with no visible gap.

  2. 02
    Contained

All pins and retaining pieces remain inside their frames.

  3. 03
    Stable

A gentle pull does not shift either band half.

Quick answers.

Use the video close-ups as the primary reference whenever the hardware orientation is unclear.

Which C05 parts should I keep?

Keep every original metal part removed in the video, including the watch connectors, cover plates, pins and TC15 buckle components. They are transferred to the replacement FKM band.

Do the buckle steps apply to both band halves?

No. Transfer a watch connector to both halves, but remove and reinstall the buckle assembly only on the shorter buckle half.

What if a part will not release or sit flush?

Do not force it. Return to the relevant video chapter, check the direction of the release point or pin, and realign the parts before trying again.

How do I confirm the band is ready to wear?

Both connectors should sit flush and centered, all pins should be contained, and neither band half should move when gently pulled.
